groundhog day...

didn't go for my run this morning so did a spin class at lunch and plan to go for a swim after work...

tomorrow after work i think that i am going to do one of the Boy Charlton Biathlons... this involves 4k run followed by 300m swim.

Good way to wash the sweat off after a run. DJ tells me Boy Charlton is a fast pool ;)

The biathlon looks like fun! Nice run course. I know how you feel about the nerves, once you get going you'll forget all about them.

Good luck.

That looks/sounds like it will be a fun event. It should be quite nice hoping the pool after a 4k run, even better when you have finished the 300m ;-)

Have fun and good luck!

I get nervous about races I haven't done before (and those I have...) Run swim is a good order- far better than swim/run. It sounds like awesome fun!

My (too late) two cents- don't forget to breathe properly in the pool!

So are the aquathon plans still on for today? (not sure why they refer to them as biathlons - official "biathlons" are the shooting and cross-country skiing events from the Winter Olympics!

Aquathons (or aquathlons) are run/swim events. Duathlons are run/bike events. That might help to ensure you get the terminology right for any chance meetings you may have with multi-sport peoples ;)
