the wildest of wild wallys...
nah - not really - but its a bit boring writing 'wild wally' every couple of weeks.
i had 5 reps on the program which was implemented as 3 and then a break and then the other two. very short recoveries but that was because i was slow :)
don't even need freddy the forerunner to tell my my times: 3.33, 3.47, 3.44, 3.47, 3.47. pretty consistent with the usual overenthusiastic start!!
however, freddy does tell me that my warm up was 3.48km (including run to the oval, run to the hill and strides), total distance of 5 wild wallys was 3.38k, cool down was 2.12k for a total of just under 9k. still need to add one k to the cool down...
felt pretty pissweak to be honest but the day i feel strong on hills will probably be the day i win the city 2 surf!!!
(PS - extra brownie points though because I was out till at least 10(!) with a pack of debaucherous bloggers trying to lead my down the path of alcohol and dessert... i stayed strong - but it was hard. thanks lulu/jen/owl&dave/portrunr/dj/wtr for a fun night :)

Well done on making it to training and for restraining yourself on the dessert AND wine. I could manage not to order dessert but I do like a glass of red!
Impressed with the self-restraint on the dessert.
Thanks for the tip on the boardshorts. G-strings are probably out.
Clearly you were sitting at the wrong end of the table. You would never have got away with avoiding dessert AND wine at our end.
Looking forward to swapping nerdy running stats with you soon!
oh, and let me know where/ when you want to meet for the run this Sunday!
C'mon Ellie, 10pm's an early night for you - fantastic restraint though.
And at least you did get up and run this morning...unlike me!
Lucky that Lulu specified that she didn't "order" dessert ;) lol
Great to see you again :)
Gee Ellie, you keep up the self restraint and all those Wild Wallys and you may just win C2S one day.
Oh, and did you have to mention brownie points. Now I am sooooo craving a chocolate brownie :-(
I'm glad to see that Freddy the Forerunner stuck.
