sitting here googling arch pain and plantar fasciitis (still not convinced although every answer for arch pain seems to point in that direction.....) and i am hurting myself with a golf ball. it really hurts!!!!
seeing all the same suggestions - that is related to calf tightness (check) and i need to stretch more. that icing, rest etc are the way to go. my shoes are fine (probably at about 4-500km at the moment - maybe even less), i have orthotics already. but its true that i have had tight arches for a long time. easy tiger usually has a bit of a 'play' with them - perhaps its just flaring up to remind me to pay it some more attention. i tend not to do any golf ball massaging unless its really hurting.
one page that i am reading that was recommended on CR pretty much says that excess weight is the major cause and that stopping overeating would really help. i agree. but not exactly the quick solution before saturday that i was hoping for.
anyway - back to the pain...
